Widow and father-in-law charged over Jason Corbett killing

The US-based widow and father-in-law of slain Limerick man Jason Corbett have been charged with causing his death.

Molly Martens Corbett, 32, and her father Thomas Martens, 65, appeared in a North Carolina court yesterday and were subsequently granted bail. They have been charged with second degree murder and voluntary manslaughter.

The pair surrendered themselves by appointment at the Davidson County courthouse. They were arrested, photographed and fingerprinted and appeared before the Superior Court.
