The video, which has gone viral with over 70,000 hits in over a week, shows students singing, shouting and kicking bags of rubbish late at night on Magazine Road near UCC in Cork caused controversy last week.
The video of students, believed to be from UCC, highlighted the misery residents of Magazine Road face at least two nights a week.
Students from UCC have since given their thoughts and reactions to the video and of the house party.
There is concern among some students that viral videos such as this may lead to the public image of students being damaged due to the actions of a minority.
One female student who acknowledged that the video is not an isolated incident said that students’ revelry was "out of hand".
A male student admited that while it was unfair on the residents of Magazine Road, "boys will be boys", he said.
Another female student who is a resident of Magazine Road said: "Not everyone student is like that and it’s probably just a one time thing... they probably regretted it after."
In a seperate interview another male student of UCC said that the incident represented the "culture in certain parts of college where everybody goes out and gets as drunk as as they can".
