CIT’s science roadshow attracting big audiences

Just two years since it hit the tarmac, a college Roadshow showcasing careers in science and engineering has attracted an audience of more than 2,000 people.

Cork Institute of Technology’s Engineering, Science and Technology Roadshow soon begins its tour of towns in Cork for the third year in a row.

It has proven popular with students and, say the organisers, has been “phenomenally successful,” particularly at encouraging more second-level female students to consider college courses in engineering, science or technology programmes.
