Man charged with manslaughter of homeless man

A man in his 20s has appeared before a special sitting of Cork District Court charged with the manslaughter of a homeless man in the city earlier this month.

Daniel O’Sullivan, aged 22, of Carrowkeel, in Mallow, Co Cork, was charged on Saturday with the manslaughter of Vincent Morgain, 37, from France.

Mr O’Sullivan was charged with unlawfully killing Mr Morgain in Lower Oliver Plunkett St in Cork on September 10.
