Facebook birthday wish for Sarah Corbett

The stepmother of Sarah Corbett has posted a heart-wrenching birthday post as the girl turns nine today.

Sarah and her 10-year-old brother, Jack, returned to Limerick almost two weeks ago following a protracted legal battle to keep them in North Carolina where they had lived for the last four years.

Last month, their father Jason was found with fatal head injuries at a home he shared in the US with his second wife, Molly Martens Corbett, and his two children from a first marriage.
