A case in which two Romanian pleaded guilty to stealing €600 worth of perfume and aftershave from a pharmacy in Macroom has been referred to a later court date for sentencing.

Mihai Antonala and Aurel Anghel were arrested outside Wexford Court on Wednesday and brought before a sitting of Clonakilty District Court yesterday.

Judge Timothy Lucey heard that the two men, alongside a third co-accused who was not in court yesterday, were caught on CCTV stealing the cosmetics from Matt Murphy’s Pharmacy in Macroom on August 4 last.
