VIDEO: Facebook Notes gets update to look like a real blog

Facebook is revamping its Notes section and turning it into a more blogger-friendly platform. 

The update to Facebook Notes will allow users to post longer blog entries and they can also upload a cover image to accompany their post.

Facebook Notes has been present on the social network for years now, but it has never been used by a lot of people.

The thing is, most people might not even know that that even existed on Facebook in the first place. So why did the company decide to revamp that section of its site?

"We're testing an update to Notes to make it easier for people to create and read longer-form stories on Facebook Notes," a spokesperson told The Verge.
