Judges say Cork street has everything needed to win 'great street' award

The judges who will crown the best street in Ireland or England believe the country’s only finalist  — Oliver Plunkett Street in Cork — has everything needed to win.

Assessors from the London-based Academy of Urbanism made their comments after taking a stroll in the sunshine along the city centre’s longest street as part of a site visit this morning.
