Racing enthusiasts under starter’s orders in Tramore
The Waterford and Tramore August Racing Festival runs from Thursday until Sunday and thousands are expected to make the pilgrimage to the popular racecourse for some — if not all — of the event.
Opening the festival will be a special ‘Hurlers and Horses’ evening meeting when the county’s hurling heroes, their management team and families will be present. Following their exertions against Kilkenny at the weekend, the hurlers will be turning their attention to the four-legged sport and Club Déise has put together a fun evening of events in the festival marquee.
