Kerry leads tourism awards

Five Kerry towns have been placed by Fáilte Ireland on its shortlist of 15 towns and villages across the country being considered for the 2015 Tourism Towns Awards. Cork has three towns shortlisted, followed by Waterford which has two.

The competition, in its fourth year, is designed to recognise Irish towns and villages where the community has worked hard to enhance their appeal to tourists.
