Student ‘was having time of his life’ when he died

A champion teenager had died happy, his grieving family was told yesterday.

Hundreds of mourners at the funeral of 19-year-old Eamon Buckley heard that he had been enjoying “the time of his life” at a music festival in Croatia when he drowned in a freak accident.

Eamon and his twin brother Liam from Moycullen, Co Galway, along with several friends, had travelled to Split for a music festival last week when tragedy struck.
