Prayer service for boy, 3, who died after being pulled from hotel pool

Staff and guests will be invited to a special prayer service in a Co Cork hotel this morning to remember the toddler who lost his life after being pulled from its swimming pool.

A memorial was set up in the hotel’s reception area yesterday as news filtered through that three-year-old Ronan Kennedy had died at Temple Street Children’s University Hospital in Dublin.

He died less than 24 hours after he was pulled from the swimming pool at the beachside hotel near Youghal.
