Suspect in gun attack identified

Gardaí in Limerick have identified the gunman suspected of being involved in the fatal shooting in which a motorcycle enthusiast died last Saturday.

The victim, Andrew ‘Odd’ O’Donoghue, aged 51, died from wounds after he was shot when opening a gate leading to the Old Tramps Motorcycle Club, near Murroe, Co Limerick.

A lone gunman opened fire using a shotgun at around 3pm, hitting Mr O’Donoghue in the face.
