VIDEO: Crowds gear up for musical treat at Musgrave Park with Carreras and Jenkins

As the sun shines down on the rebel county, thousands of Corkonians are getting ready for one of this summer’s premier musical highlights — José Carreras and Katherine Jenkins, in concert with the City of Cork Symphony Orchestra.

Ahead of the much-anticipated gig, due to take place in Musgrave Park tonight, the Irish Examiner sat down with the stars of the show.

“I was here before for three concerts. I think it was December, not last year, the year before. I had the most amazing time here in Cork,” said Ms Jenkins.
