The Data Protection Commissioner may be called on to investigate the placing of secret cameras in a Co Limerick primary school after documents went missing.

Secret cameras set up in primary school

Three cameras, one concealed in a smoke alarm, were put in place in Ahane primary school last October after documents had gone missing in the school.

They were in place until last February before they were removed. Staff were informed of the cameras last Friday.
