Republic of Ireland football captain Robbie Keane has thanked the public for their support after the death of the second of his cousins who were overcome by toxic fumes during the week.

Stephen Harris, 34, from Monasterboice Rd, Crumlin, in Dublin passed away at 9am yesterday in Beaumont Hospital.

He had been overcome by toxic fumes while trying to rescue his brother, Alan, 45, from a sewer pit in Drumnigh Wood in Portmarnock.
