Ruttle to be laid to rest in family plot

Details of the final chapter of the Thomas Ruttle/Julia Holmes saga unfolded last night.

The funeral service for Mr Ruttle, who died in a suicide pact with Ms Holmes, a convicted fraudster, will be held next Wednesday, it was confirmed.

No arrangements have yet been made for Ms Holmes’ remains. She had claimed she was his wife and wanted to be buried with him. Her body remains unclaimed at the morgue of University Hospital Limerick.
