Public invited to help plan 1916 centenary events

The City Council has invited people to attend the two-hour event in City Hall’s Concert Hall from 6.30pm on Tuesday, May 26, to afford everyone who is interested an opportunity to offer their own suggestions and listen to the ideas of others and inform the city’s 2016 centenary programme.

“This is a great opportunity to be a part of the marking of an important year for Cork city and indeed for the entire country,” a spokesperson for City Hall said.
