Blur whip up enthusiasm for Electric Picnic

Britpop legends Blur are the latest act confirmed as the headliners for the Electric Picnic music festival.

The band will be making their Stradbally debut to mark the release of their critically acclaimed new album The Magic Whip. Since their arrival on the music scene in 1991, the band have had five successive albums that have gone top of the UK charts. The mid-1990s will forever be defined by their often-heated rivalry with fellow Britpop giants Oasis.
