Budding journalists urged to enter ’Headline’ awards

Student journalists are being encouraged to enter their work into a competition that encourages best practice in reporting on mental health and suicide issues.

Headline is Ireland's national media monitoring programme, working to promote responsible and accurate coverage of mental health and suicide related issues within the Irish media and the dealine for their annual student awards is this Friday.

Imformative, positive, accurate and stigma challenging pieces by media students pieces can be submitted in either print or audio formats.
