Super-yacht designed for girly getaways
Well, no more â a Monaco-based designer, Lidia Bersani, is trying to create the perfect girlsâ getaway â a luxury megayacht designed for women.
La Belle is tastefully decked out in gold mosaics, Swarovski crystal chandeliers, mother-of-pearl, onyx, fur, and bespoke furniture.

There will be no pool tables or beer kegs onboard, warns designer Bersani, who is well-known for her opulent interiors targeting millionaires
With six cabins for 12 people and a master suite, the proposed yacht will be 80m long â featuring five decks, multiple lounges, a library with fireplace, a gym with outdoor hot tub, screening room, beauty centre, and a spa area with pool, infrared sauna, and âsnow roomâ.

The vessel has no price tag yet. However, Bersani says: âThe idea is to build the most luxurious yacht in the world, and the golden decorations, Swarovski crystals, and some precious stones, which we would like to use, it will be not cheap.â
So why design just for women? âTodayâs luxury yachts are primarily focusing on the entertainment and sports of men, with or without their girlfriends,â she says.
Bersani has âlearned to understand the desires and tastes of womenâ: âLa Belle will be like a boudoir for women instead of a den for men,â she says.

Her vision is of âcomfy chairs in front of the fireplace for chilly evenings, space for ladiesâ chatter, relaxing, watching romance movies and theatre performance, listening to music, reading bestsellers.
âAnd, most importantly, we also have space for a romantic dinner with your loved one and dancing under the moon till dawn.
âAnd all that surrounded by furs, silks, gold, pearls, crystals, music, aromatics, and flowers.â
Now she just needs someone super-rich to commission the yacht.
