Man pleads guilty over anxiety tablet stash

A stash of anxiety tablets were found in the bedroom of a young man who pleaded guilty yesterday to charges related to dealing the drugs.

Detective Garda Alan Johnson testified at Cork District Court yesterday that he went to the home of Darren Twomey, aged 20, at 1 Innismore Square, Ballincollig, Co Cork, and found 360 Tranax tablets.

The tablets are associated with the moderation of anxiety and depression.
