A small community has unveiled a mural to what was once the largest creamery operating in the country and published a book on its extensive heritage.

People gathered in Lombardstown, Co Cork for the unveiling of the mural commemorating the creamery which opened in 1929.

The mural, designed by local artist Michael Deady, depicts a traditional scene of a horse and cart bringing milk to the creamery.
