Downton cast ‘sworn to secrecy’

Downton Abbey star Allen Leech has revealed that the show’s cast are sworn to secrecy about the upcoming Christmas special.

The actor, who plays former family chauffeur Tom Branson in the ITV period drama, said this year’s festive episode is “a good one” but declined to give any more away.

He told The Mail on Sunday’s Event magazine: “I’m bound by the vows of ‘Downton’. We say nothing. We don’t tweet, we don’t slip up.
