Fans have been glued to their seats — if not hiding behind them — throughout the second series of The Fall but for viewers in the North trying to watch it on RTÉ this week, the black drama left them with a touch of the blues.

It may be set and made in Belfast but, at the decree of the makers of the popular show, viewers there must now wait four days after each episode airs on RTÉ to see it on BBC.

For the first two installments of this second series, fans in the North who had a Sky subscription could watch it on the RTÉ channel.
