‘Fair City’ actress sues over injuries

A former Fair City actress, who suffered injuries while filming a scene for the show, has settled for an undisclosed sum a €38,000 damages claim against RTÉ in the circuit civil court.

Rebecca Smith, who played Annette Daly in Fair City, claimed she was injured while filming a scene on November 24, 2008.

Smith, of Killiney Towers, Co Dublin, had alleged the accident happened near Mount Merrion Church in Dublin when she was a passenger in a car driven by a stunt man employed by RTÉ.
