Keane hits out at journalists over row

Ireland assistant manager Roy Keane has rounded on journalists for questioning him about an incident last week in which he became involved in a row with a fan.

At the end of yesterday’s press conference, Keane — who declined to speak about the matter in front of TV cameras — objected when it was raised again by a print reporter.

“I’m not going to give you any comment on that,” said Keane. “Why would you think I have to give you an opinion on everything? Do you think you’ve a right to sit there and ask me anything you want and get an answer?
