Dining in dark shows world of blind

We’ve all been in the dark at some point — fumbling for a light switch, a phone, or a door knob. But what if that darkness never went away?

This week, a room full of people, myself included, experienced what it would be like to be blind. It was a sobering experience.

Dubbed Dine in the Dark, just under 100 people were served a delicious three-course meal in the Clarion Hotel, Cork City. The catch? You had to eat while blindfolded.
