Marquee maestro lands city honour

It was a tough summer for music promoter Peter Aiken who was at the centre of the Garth Brooks concert fiasco.

But the Aiken Promotions boss can chase the blues away after being named Cork Person of the Month yesterday.

Mr Aiken was honoured with the award alongside Gerard Murphy, chairman of the Cork Summer Show.
