Two arrested after man killed in house attack

Gardaí were questioning two men last night in connection with a violent attack which left one man dead and another injured.

The victims, both Latvian, were discovered inside a house on an estate on the outskirts of Tullow, Co Carlow, yesterday morning.

The deceased, Gints Intenbergs, 41, was found in the kitchen of a rented house in the Graigeowen estate. He had suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by members of the emergency services.
