UCC President accepts his Ice Bucket Challenge

Looking out of place in a 'Boole is Coole' t-shirt, President of UCC Michael Murphy today accepted his Ice Bucket Challenge.

Having been nominated by the UCC Students'Union, Dr Murphy allowed the SU president to soak him in the middle of the university's famous quad.

Dr Murphy said he was doing the Ice Bucket Challenge in memory of George Boole, who "got wet coming to college, got pneumonia and suffered water treatment by his wife".
