Temporary tickets issued after delays with school bus pass

Thousands of children could be left without transport when schools open next week, as their tickets have not yet been issued by Bus Éireann.

The company is working to ensure families who have paid but have not yet got tickets, are issued with temporary tickets so they can travel on school buses.

Anybody who has neither will not be allowed to travel, as drivers and parents have been told that receipts for payment will not be accepted to use the school transport system.
