Cork duo on track for Triathlon record

Endurance Challenge duo Sean Buckley and James Colbert last night completed the second leg of their epic attempt when they cycled into Midleton in East Cork after spending the last 10 days covering a remarkable 1,780km — more than half of the distance of the Tour De France.

They have already completed a six-day 120km swim along the entire length of the River Shannon. They are now limbering up for four marathons between now and Sunday, hitting the road in Monaghan tomorrow, Westport on Thursday, Dublin on Saturday, and finishing in their home town, Midleton, on Sunday.
