Search continues for remains at waste plant

Searches of the recycling plant where a man’s severed limbs were found are to continue for at least several more days as gardaí continue to find fragments of what are thought to be pieces of flesh and bone.

So far a lower leg and a section of upper leg from thigh to pelvis have been found and postmortem tests yesterday concluded they were from the same person, a male.

But other items have also been retrieved and were being examined last night to determine if they also belong to the man who is thought to have been murdered and his remains dumped.
