Short film nets award, but could Keano score an Oscar?

Never mind When Harry Met Sally — a weekend victory for a short movie about Keano as a young footballer could pave the way for When Roy Met Oscar.

The 12-minute film, Rockmount, picked up the Tiernan McBride Award for best short drama at the Galway Film Fleadh, where it premiered on Saturday.

Not only did it bring glory for producer Dave Tynan and young actor Craig Keane Harrington — no relation to the Republic of Ireland assistant manager — it is also now in line for possible shortlisting for an Academy Award.
