‘Spy camera’ discovered in hospital

The HSE has ordered a full investigation after a ‘spy camera’ was found hidden at a Donegal hospital.

The camera, which was hidden in a cardboard box at Letterkenny General Hospital, was located at a maintenance office and allegedly used for security surveillance.

The CCTV device has now been decommissioned and an investigation is under way to establish why it was necessary in the first place.
