Tubridy firm fortunes climb to €290,000
Figures just lodged with the Companies Office by Tubridy’s Tuttle Productions Ltd show that the firm’s fortunes continued to prosper last year, in spite of the star taking a hefty pay cut.
The figures show that the firm’s accumulated profits increased by €26,390 from €227,661 to €254,051 in the 12 months to the end of August 31. The company’s cash pile increased by €53,272 from €239,583 to €292,855 in the 12 months to the end of August 2013.
Tubridy was RTÉ’s best-paid star in 2012 when he received €495,000.
The broadcaster revealed last year that Tubridy was paid €723,000 in 2011 and took a 32% pay cut in his current contract.
