Michael Flatley reveals retirement will be hard

Michael Flatley today admitted he will be "sad" to bow out of live performance following his final shows next year.

The dancer and choreographer was speaking in Cork ahead of his Lord of the Dance - Dangerous Games show which is due to premiere in 2014.

He was speaking at Cork Airport in his role as ambassador for ConnectIreland, which seeks to attract new overseas companies to set up operations here.

Outlining the rigours of training for the show, he said he was looking forward to performing on stage next year.
