When her online business goes live later this week, Maria Carolan will join the growing ranks of Irish ‘mumpreneurs’ — mums who rear their children while running their own businesses.

And next month she’ll be one of several mumpreneurs attending special workshops in West Cork to teach mothers how to achieve business success.

This Thursday, the Clonakilty mother of three’s online business goes live, providing local retailers with gift vouchers for their customers.
