Judge grants adjournment of Roy Collins murder trial

The trial of two Limerick men charged with murdering businessman Roy Collins has been adjourned until tomorrow for the completion of ‘long and complicated’ disclosure to the defence.

Wayne Dundon, 35, and Nathan Killeen, 23, are charged with murdering the 35-year-old at Coin Castle Amusements, Roxboro Rd Shopping Centre, Limerick on April 9, 2009.

The non-jury Special Criminal Court had previously ordered the disclosure of any recordings made between gardaí and witnesses during the investigation and the trial was due to begin yesterday.
