My address? ’Outer space’

A drunken middle-aged woman who was asked by gardaí for her address replied, “outer space”.

Caroline Flynn, aged 48, of 9 Churchfield Place West, was in Cork District Court yesterday. She pleaded guilty to being drunk and a danger, engaging in threatening behaviour, and refusing to give her address to gardaí at Dominic St on January 14.

Judge Con O’Leary fined her €250 for the threatening charge and took the other charges into consideration.
