Samaritans service gets boost with free number

Calls to the Samaritans are now free.

Samaritans Ireland has launched a new number — 116123 — for people struggling to cope with their problems.

The new free-to-call number is the result of a partnership between Samaritans Ireland and the telecommunications industry.
