File being sent to DPP after dangerous teen car stunt

Gardaí are preparing a file for the DPP after questioning the 18-year-old driver involved in a potentially dangerous ‘stunt’ on the outskirts of Cork last weekend.

Initially, it was thought that pictures of the stunt — which appeared on a Facebook site — were taken in the Glanmire area last Sunday afternoon.

Gardaí started their inquiries there after it emerged that the passenger in the car was from the Glanmire area.
