Hearing on Haulbowline toxic dump clean-up to go ahead

Plans for a major clean-up at a toxic dump in Cork harbour are to be the subject of a Bord Pleanála oral hearing.

he planning appeals board has announced that the hearing into proposals for the remediation of the East Tip site on Haulbowline will take place at the Clarion Hotel, Cork on Wednesday, March 19.

The plans were submitted to Bord Pleanála on behalf of Minister or Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Simon Coveney.
