1. Marriage support:

An opinion poll has revealed strong support for same-sex marriage in Ireland with more than three quarters of those surveyed in favour of it.

2. Health insurance:

According to a draft report on proposed universal healthcare, anyone that doesn't have at least basic health insurance could have money taken from their wages.

3. Wilkins’s depression:

Former England midfielder Ray Wilkins’s shock departure form Chelsea in 2010 was his “darkest time” in a long battle with depression, he has revealed.

4. Gateway to work:

People on the dole are being given work with local authorities for an extra €20 a month in an attempt to

get them back to work.

5. Parliamentary brawl:

Negotiations in Ukraine’s parliament descended into a mass brawl this morning with President Yanukovych promising to hold early elections in the aftermath.

6. One Disaster:

1D star Niall Horan had a rough night at the Brit Awards where he not only got stuck in an elevator but had his crutches stolen too.
