Behal snaps up top award for photojournalist of the year
In his winning portfolio, Julien received five awards, with those for portrait, politics and reportage for images taken with Maxwell Photography, and news and portrait awards for assignments for the Press Association.
Other prizewinners included Eamon Ward, who took the top prize in the reportage section; Leon Farrell of Photocall Ireland, who took third spot in the arts and entertainment section and the portrait section; and Michael MacSweeney, who took third prize in the reportage section.
