Dingle hideaway named best bargain

A 12-room boutique hotel in Dingle has been named the best bargain hotel in the world.

Castlewood House received the award from influential website Trip-Advisor, which grants the awards every year based on the opinions of millions of travellers who use the site.

As well as being named the best bargain hotel in the world, the €45-a-night hotel also ranked seventh in the world and second in Europe in the category of small hotels. Last year, it was named best hotel in Ireland by the TripAdvisor community.
