In the latest gadget from Intel, Edison and Rest Devices, tiny sensors the size of a baby’s hand attach to a baby’s onesie, letting parents know everything from breathing rates and pulse to temperature and the baby’s body position.

The data is sent in real time to a smartphone, telling parents the baby’s vital signs.
