From hi-tech to wear-tech, Vegas shows the future

Babies get wearable technology too at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

In the latest gadget from Intel, Edison and Rest Devices, tiny sensors the size of a baby’s hand attach to a baby’s onesie, letting parents know everything from breathing rates and pulse to temperature and the baby’s body position.

The data is sent in real time to a smartphone, telling parents the baby’s vital signs.
