Designer’s niece followed air hostess into galley and shoved her against wall

The niece of fashion designer Ralph Lauren verbally abused airline staff, pushed an air hostess against a wall and ranted, roared and shouted incoherently, a court heard yesterday.

Jenny Lauren pleaded guilty to breaching the peace and being drunk on board a transatlantic Delta Airlines flight which had to be diverted to Shannon Airport on Monday afternoon.

She was fined €2,000 for pushing an air hostess and swearing at airline staff.
