Priory Hall campaigner ‘grateful’ over €5k gesture

Priory Hall campaigner Stephanie Meehan yesterday praised the new owners of developer Tom McFeely’s Ballsbridge home after they donated their €5,000 cut of money found at the property to her and her family.

Ms Meehan was one of the residents who had to leave their apartments at the complex in north Dublin just over two years ago when fire chiefs labelled it a fire hazard.

In the course of a tumultuous year her partner, Fiachra Daly, took his own life five months ago last Monday, while more recently the Government announced a long-term solution for the Priory Hall residents that will allow them to move on with their lives.
